Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Summary
Tradepurple is a digital subscription service. You can cancel at any time and access continues until the end of your current paid billing period. Once your subscription is active and you have waived your statutory right of withdrawal (see Section 4), no refunds are issued for partial billing periods. This policy explains the full details, including the limits to that rule under EU consumer law.
2. The free trial
New accounts start with a 7-day free trial. No payment is taken during the trial. You can cancel at any time during the trial from Settings → Manage subscription and you will not be charged. If you do not cancel, the trial converts automatically into a paid monthly subscription on day 7.
3. Cancelling your subscription
You can cancel at any time from Settings → Manage subscription. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You retain full access until that date. After access ends, your account remains in read-only mode and you can resubscribe at any time.
4. Right of withdrawal and waiver
Under EU consumer law you normally have a 14-day right of withdrawal when purchasing a digital service. To activate Tradepurple immediately, you are asked at signup to give explicit consent for the service to begin and to acknowledge that, by doing so, you waive your 14-day right of withdrawal once the service has been activated. This waiver is recorded with a timestamp and confirmed to you in your welcome email, which serves as the durable medium required by EU consumer law.
If you did not give this consent, your 14-day withdrawal right remains in effect from the start of your first paid billing cycle. You can exercise it by emailing support@tradepurple.com or by submitting the model withdrawal form in Section 9.
5. No refunds for partial billing periods
Once your subscription is active and you have waived your right of withdrawal, no refunds are issued for partial billing periods. If you cancel mid-month, your access continues until the end of the period you have already paid for, and no pro-rata refund is provided.
6. Discretionary goodwill refunds
In exceptional cases, for example accidental duplicate billing, prolonged service unavailability, or a clear billing error, we may issue a partial or full refund at our sole discretion. This is offered as a goodwill gesture and does not constitute a contractual right or set a precedent. Goodwill refund requests are reviewed individually by our team and are not guaranteed.
7. Mandatory legal exceptions
The waiver in Section 4 does not remove your statutory protections in the following cases. We will refund the affected portion of your subscription as required by EU consumer protection law if (a) Tradepurple fails to deliver the service as described, (b) a payment was unauthorized or fraudulent, or (c) a material defect prevents normal use of the service.
8. How to request a cancellation, refund, or withdrawal
To cancel your subscription, go to Settings → Manage subscription. To request a goodwill refund or invoke a statutory exception, email support@tradepurple.com with your account email and a short description of the issue. To exercise the 14-day withdrawal right (only if you did not waive it at signup), email us or submit the model form in Section 9.

10. Refund timing and method
Approved refunds are processed back to the original payment method within 14 days of approval. Stripe processing time may add a few additional business days before the amount appears on your statement. We do not issue refunds in cash, gift cards, or alternative methods.
11. Chargebacks
If you are unhappy with a charge, please contact us first at support@tradepurple.com so we can resolve the issue. Initiating a chargeback through your bank without first contacting us may result in account suspension and may incur additional processing costs.
